[Agriculture DX] Work efficiency improved by 190%! The power of an electric wheelbarrow that can transport 7,000 seedling trays

We conducted a joint demonstration experiment using our " E-cat kit2 unicycle electrification kit" at Yonemoto Agricultural Cooperative in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture.
With the average age of employees at 67, transporting as many as 7,000 rice seedling trays each year was a huge burden. We would like to introduce the surprising labor-saving effects that became apparent through this experiment.
- Double the transport capacity : The electric-assisted propulsion force increases the transport capacity by 14 kg per round trip. This means that twice as many seedling trays can be transported in the same amount of time, improving work efficiency by 190%.
- Smooth even on muddy and rough roads : The use of water allows for stable running without the wheels getting caught, even inside greenhouses with many bumps and mud.
- The deciding factor for the introduction was its "versatility" : The fact that it can be used all year round, not just during the seedling stage, to transport materials and residues, and that it can also use batteries from familiar power tools, was highly appreciated on site.
"It was so easy to use that we decided to install four units immediately after testing it," said one customer, who was so satisfied. As the first step in smart agriculture, it dramatically reduces the burden on the field.
